how to detect edge detection canny two layer?

hallo. i have a final project to segmentation and detect canny edge detection two layer of optic disk and optic cup like this picture? anyone can help me? thankyou..

Indra: Could you please share some more details about what you have tried already? I believe you are trying to get from the image on the left to the image on the right. Did you try using

 edge(I,'canny')

? See Documentation for edge for more details. You might have to tweak some parameters in edge to get close to what you need. Is 'canny' the only option you want to use? Have you considered activecontour , possibly?

canny does not look like a good approach. The vessels will produce much stronger edges than the optic disc.

ya i have already detect with canny, but just detect area of optic disk without optic cup (green channel). can yo help me to detect both?
