Medini starts MATLAB in a small window (only a title bar) but it used to be a large window that contained startup text. The process takes along time and then errors with failed to start MATLAB com server. Simulink bridge preparation failed.

I can now answer my own question. The error was caused by our startup script and has been resolved by a conditional path in the script. Thank you.
