Is it possible to use a computer (Windows or MacOS) as a node/cluster with MATLAB Distributed Computer server ?

I would like to use different computer as nodes and laugh from my main computer different parallels simulations on different computers connected on the same network. MATLAB Distributed Computer server is the good tool to realize this ?
