How to export an image from matlab after processing it and save it in any location

Kindly, i need your kind support to explain to me how to export an image from matlab after processing it and save it in any location i determine it in my laptop. Kind Regards

You can use imwrite.

with fullfile().
And if you want a non-integer image that you're not going to open in any other program, you can store it in a .mat file with save() and recall it with load().

i need to export image from matlab to desktop of my computer not to import image. for example:
img =im2double(imread('finger.png'));
img = imresize(img,0.5);
how can i export img to desktop or any location as jpg,png ? kind regards
