When dealing with the data type "ufix16_Sp1" what does the Sp1 mean?

Hello,
I'm working with data types inside matlab, and I can't seem to find any documentation online about ufix16_Sp1. I understand the ufix16 part, but I can't figure out what the Sp1 means. Is there a resource online or could somebody please explain to me this convention?
