is it possible to model the hydrodynamic interactions of a fin in watery medium using simMechanics?

Hi, I am trying to simulate a system that uses waves' potential difference and hydrofoil effect to move forward. On each wave crest, the sub converts vertical motion into horizontal thrust thanks to hydrodynamic forces acting upon it's fins. The question I have to ask is : After designing the sub in simMechanics, is it possible to model the hydrodynamic interactions using simMechanics(horizontal "lift" as thrust and bidimentional drag induced by the upward and forward motions of the sub)? I assume that water at the depth of the sub is still enough to only consider the sub's speed as relative speed for celerity dependant forces calculation, such as lift and drag.
