The Simulink Transport Delay block states that if the specified delay is smaller than the current time step extrapolation is performed to determine the output based on the history of inputs. However, it gives no details as to how this extrapolation is performed. How is it done?

Hi Richard!
The block uses first order Lagrange interpolation. It's clearly understood if you generate code from the block and look at the generated code.
Hope this helps.
