I am using Matlab2016a on Mac 10.12 Sierra. I am trying to use MATCONT which is a package for bifurcation diagrams in Matlab. I downloaded that. I typed on the command line 'mex -setup' and it gave me an error: Error using mex No supported compiler or SDK was found. For options, visit http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/R2016a/maci64.html.
I downloaded and installed XCode Version 8.3 (8E162). But it is still giving me the same error. I am not sure what's going on. Any timely help would be greatly appreciated.

MATLAB R2016a was not supported on Sierra. If you run it on Sierra you should make sure you install the patch

Hello Walter, I think I don't need the patch because my locale is not impacted by this issue. My problem is resolved when i downloaded the MatCont6p6 from the sourceforge. Thanks for your help though :)
