Xilinx System Generator is developed by AMD Xilinx based on releases of MATLAB and Simulink. As such, AMD Xilinx is the proper channel for technical support.

I found this relevant page on Xilinx's support site - 55830 - Vivado System Generator - Which versions of System Generator for DSP are compatible with which versions of Vivado Design tools and MATLAB and on what OS?, According to this page, System Generator 2017.2 is limited to use with MathWorks 2016a, 2016b and 2017a releases, so 2017b would not be supported. We would recommend using a different release from either MathWorks, AMD Xilinx, or both companies.

Edit the xml file: "C:\Xilinx\Vivado\2017.2\data\sysgen\sg_config\ml_supported.xml" and Add Matlab Version.
