how to generate wind farm using genetic Algorithm.

Hi, I started to learn about genetic algorithm. I want to plan a wind farm. I have no idea how to start though. How do I load the area? How do I load the wind speed for the area? How do I run Genetic Alg on this case?
This is all very confusing. Can anyone please guide me?
