Matlab Student Version question

Hi everybody,
I currently have the Matlab student version R2010a and I want to buy the Curve Fitting Toolbox. The problem is, on the website it says that the release and platform for optional add-on products must match the release and platform of my Matlab Student version core product. Does this mean that the current release of the Curve Fitting Toolbox wont work on my matlab student version R2010a?
I would really appreciate if you could give me a hint on this.
Thank you!
Lu

Yes, it does mean that. You need to buy the R2010a Curve Fitting Toolbox.

Dear Walter,
Thank you for your answer! The only two release options I get when I try to buy the toolbox are the 2011a and 2012a. I can´t find the 2010a release. Do you know where can I get the R2010a Curve Fitting Toolbox?
Thank you,
Lu

I was told that add-ons for 2010 were no longer available and one had to buy a new version of matlab in order to use the add-on products...
