Can I just copy my auto-deploy folder from one server to another

I am moving MPS from one server to another. I got the license issues resolved and have no trouble starting a mps instance. When my client connects it gets the -404 error. I just copied my .ctf files in the auto-deploy folder from the old server to the new server. I also placed the corresponding matlab functions in the same folder as the old server. I kept the folder structure the same on both servers. Should this work (it isn't) or do I need to re-create all of the .ctf files from scratch with the mps compiler?

I figured it out on my own. You do need to re-compile every function you use in mps when you migrate from one server to another. The .ctf files are married to the server they are created on.
