Program the TI F28335 for CAN communication

Hello,

I'm trying to use simulink to program the TI F28335 DSC. So far I haven't had success in doing this and I'm guessing it has to due with improper usage of the blocks in the simulink model.

This is what I have so far. In target preferences I have it configured for a 1 Mbit/s speed. I'm using a CAN-PCI Card in my computer to monitor the bus activity, but like I said, so far there's nothing being send. Am I missing an important block or is it something else?

I appreciate any help you can provide.
