How to calculate the distance between two un-equal vectors in matlab.???

Consider I have two vectors of different lengths i.e., length(a) is not equal to length (b). How to caluclate the distance between the two vectors???

That still doesn't tell us what your definition of "distance" is for this application.
  • The difference in the number of points in the vectors
  • The distance between the centroids of your regions
  • The difference in area between your regions
  • The number of people who say "The two regions look different" when you ask them to compare the two images
  • Something completely different
Once you tell us what you want to compute we may be able to help you determine how to compute that quantity.

Any distance between two contour points e.g., Euclidean distance..from which we could quantify how much one contour points differ from one another.
