I am using DICOMINFO for a number of different DICOM files but I get error "The specified file is not in DICOM format".

I think that the title describes the issue. I am using DICOMINFO but I get this error only for some images that don't seem to have any obvious differences compared to other (that in turn don't produce this error).
I have seen that other errors regarding DIDOMINFO are addressed by the Mathworks team in the following link:
https://uk.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/95851-why-does-dicominfo-not-work-on-some-files#answer_105203
However, I could not spot the patch described there and besides that, I am not sure whether there is something else that I should do. Any directions would very much help!
Thank you.

I found what the problem is so, please no need to worry about this. I had some hidden files created accidentally inside these folders by Mac users. I will find a way to avoid processing these hidden files. Thank you anyway.
