Does anybody know about adding traffic heterogeneity in heterogeneous wireless sensor networks and its matlab code ?

We deal with constant traffic i.e. 4000 bits (message length) in protocols like LEACH,SEP,DEEC. Now how we can add varying traffic condition to these networks theoretically and in matlab coding.
