How can I set MP-285 move without Joystick and Rotary Optical Encoder (ROE)?

Recently,I try to use computer interface and your supplied software to control manipulator without Joystick and Rotary Optical Encoder (ROE).
Up to now, I can connect my computer to manipulator control successfully through serial port. And I attempted to change local information (xyz) by using your Visual C++ MP-285 Interface, however, only the local information on the screen of controller (MP-285) changed, the electromechanical micromanipulator device didn't move at all and the indicator light on MP-285 wasn't on either. After that, I tried to use Joystick and Rotary Optical Encoder(ROE) control the micromanipulator device, and it began to move in the coordinate system changed by my computer, which means that, the MP-285 received my order, but the electromechanical micromanipulator device didn't.
