I'm not being able to open or save scripts

I am getting an error code (I've attached a picture) whenever I try to open or save a script. I've been trying to learn global variables, and now I can't do anything. Help?

Your function length.m is taking precedent over the built-in length function. Functions that expect to call the built-in function are instead calling your function and it doesn't perform the same way the built-in length function does. You should rename your function.
