I believe this example was introduced in a later release of Simscape Power Systems (which was merged with Simscape Electronics into Simscape Electrical in release R2018b) than the release you're using. Upgrade to a newer release and make sure you have Simscape Power Systems (for releases prior to R2018b) or Simscape Electrical (for release R2018b and later) installed.
