scientefic calculator needed to calculate integration

i want to make a button in the scientefic calculator to calculate the integrtion but it always shows me error that x is undefined so pls tell me the code to solve this error thanks in advanced

Which release? In newer matlab you cannot int a character vector and need to use str2sym
