This article only applies to R2013b and earlier. For instructions on downloading for R2014a and later, see the following article:
If you are an administrator on a license, you can download an ISO archive of the installation DVD's for MATLAB. The MATLAB ISO archive is useful for installing MATLAB on an offline machine. In order to access the ISO image, follow the steps below:
IMPORTANT: You must be an administrator on your MATLAB license to download the installer as an ISO image.
For R2008b - R2013b:
  1. Go to https://www.mathworks.com/downloads/web_downloads/select_release
  2. Select a release (ISOs are not available for R2008a and earlier)
  3. Select a Platform (Windows 32-Bit, Linux 64-Bit, etc)
  4. Press "Download R20XXx Products" (Leave the products that are checked off as they are, it is not needed to adjust this)
  5. Click "Get R20XXx .iso image" beneath helpful links
  6. Click the blue download release for the OS you need an ISO for
If you are not an administrator on your license you will need to contact your administrator to obtain the ISO image. To find out who your license administrators are, go to the MathWorks license center, select the license you want to download the ISO for, and select the "Contact Administrators" tab.
For instructions on how to install MATLAB using ISO images, please see the following related article:

Note: The ISOs are not available on Home or Student licenses.
