Starting from R2018b, you can generate HDL code for your plant model that you developed using Simscape.
Before you generate HDL code, use the Simscape HDL Workflow Advisor (<https://uk.mathworks.com/help/releases/R2019b/hdlcoder/ref/sschdladvisor.html sschdladvisor> function) to generate an HDL implementation model from Simscape switched linear models.

The following example illustrates the use of Simscape HDL Workflow Advisor to generate HDL code for a Simscape model:
Prior to R2018b, HDL code generation is not supported for Simscape models. Before you can generate HDL code, you have to convert the Simscape model to an equivalent Simulink model.
