The smart grid simulink model gives error in the solver configuration block
The error displayed is as follows
Initial conditions solve failed to converge.
...Nonlinear solver: failed to converge, residual norm too large.
......Here is the set of components with unconverged equations:

Hello Jagrati,
unfortunately, it seems this particular model is not being updated by it's owner, and there is not much we can do about that. The main issues with this model are numerous. one, it does not have all of it's components defined, and it needs to be brought through an upgrade advisor. Additionally, the simscape based solar cells should be replaced with the specialized power systems solar panel block. Mixing and matching thes technologies is possible, but requires more in depth knowledge of solver settings than if you stick to a single technology. Since the majority of this model is specialized power systems, it is easiest to replace the solar array. The solvers hould be set to ode23tb as well, since ode45 will provide the wrong results.
Regards,
Joel
