Can download matlab but when I click on the download, it doesn't open the installer!

I have a MacOS Catalina 10.15 and I am trying to download MatLAB 2020a. Every time I download it, and click on it, my computer just opens the file explorer and doesn't ask if I want to install it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
