If the version number of Simulink Support Package for Arduino Hardware that you have installed is 20.2.1, then you might face this issue on macOS.
To know the version of the installed support package, execute the following command:
>> matlabshared.supportpkg.getInstalled
To resolve this issue follow the instructions given below:\n
  1. Download the attached files and put them in the same folder.
  2. Navigate to the folder created in step 1 above in MATLAB.
  3. Run the 'applyPatch.m' file from MATLAB command prompt.
  4. Restart MATLAB.

When you say put the files 'in the same folder' ... what does that mean? What folder should I put these files into?
Thanks!

nevermind... I guess that might have been a dumb question. After downloading the files and placing them together 'in the same folder' (located anywhere) the patch worked great!
Thanks and sorry for being dumb.
