Has anybody else had the urge to use MATLAB as a verb?

4 views (last 30 days)
For example:
Man, I just can't stop MATLABing today, it's crazy!
or
I MATLABed for 7 hours today, my brain hurts now.
I was just thinking it sounded pretty catchy, and I know how much us programmers love being lazy, so instead of saying "I programmed in MATLAB a lot today", you could just say "I MATLABed it up today"
I was wondering if I was crazy, or am I definitely not alone on this?

"I was wondering if I was crazy, or am I definitely not alone on this?" What about "both" ;-) ?

I don't recall doing that, however some people feel the same as you:

That first video made my night, as an intern at the MathWorks right now, this seemed so perfect, well except that matlab 12b isn't on a floppy anymore, but still, thanks so much for sharing!
