OCR phase - i want code for character recognition using KNN classifier for the scanned image, i tried with Chain code transform i want any help

Dear Sir,

First Thanks for your effort in advance.. second We are requested to deliver specific project in our faculty.. part of this project which we are of crisis with is the OCR part .

In a specific details we want a software (code of MATLAB ) which i can give it an image (Taken from our scanner) contain lines of words like the image attaches in this E-mail and recognize the letters(Capitals and smalls) ,words,numbers and spaces and save it to .txt file.

In a conclusion we want image to --> text (Software)

Mandatory: 1. Using "Chain Code algorithm" in feature extraction vector 2. Using "KNN" as a classifier 3. Take the scanned image automatically from the scanner and send it to the program to work on it

Our Deadline is 25-6-2013 and it's so important to us ... i hope you reply to me very soon and i hope the answer is with acceptance.
