I am searching for calculating the maximal frequency existing in some discrete signal. Here are the values of the signal: 1.0e+003 * 2.3784 2.3435 2.3145 2.2680 2.2785 2.2380 2.1580 2.1234 2.1168 2.1215 2.0705 2.0539 2.0202 1.9921 1.9524 1.9636 1.9859 1.9855 1.4550 1.2421 and the data are registred every 0.01 s. please can someone help me. And after having calculate this frequency, I will apply wavelet so theis frequency is devided by 2 at each level. Can someone give me the relation between this frequency and the cutoff frequency of the wavelet filter ?
