How measure a 0.5 delta of a vector?

Hi everyone,
Truly appreciated to direct me in advance!
I have a vector (a signal) and I need to measure the half d of natural logarithm of the signal. How should write the code? Thank you!

Come is a simple one. Read some basics of MATLAB.
x = rand(10,1) ;
iwant = 1/2*log(x)
iwant = 10×1
-0.6282 -0.1741 -0.0227 -0.4696 -0.3884 -1.1212 -1.7144 -0.0485 -0.5902 -0.4798
