Image acquisition toolbox with pixelink B-741 USB

I'm using MATLAB to acquire images of a video camera pixelink B-741 USB. The video camera is recognized by the MATLAB and the image acquisition is easily possible.

The problem is that it is impossible to control any of the camera parameters (like FPS, exposure time, gain, etc.). I'm using MATLAB 8.1 and toolbox 4.5.

I have tried the same camera in another version (MATLAB 7.1 and Toolbox 3.5) and strangely, the parameters that is possible to control change when I change from one computer to another.

The drivers are installed and the dedicated software from pixelink (capture OEM) allows for full control of the video camera parameters.

Hey Pedro, Can you explain how you were able to control the camera with matlab? I am having trouble simply acquiring images, let alone controlling camera properties. Would you mind pasting a few lines of code showcasing how to sync up to it?

Also, did you ever find out how to control pixelink camera properties?
