Which meaning of ".fid" ? Is it for example an MRS (magnetic resonance spectography) file? Is it part of a dataset produced by a modern Bruker Electrospin instrument? An older Bruker instrument?

you can directly load the '.fld' file using the button named 'load data' on the top of the main workspace

That is going to depend on which kind of .fld file it is; I find several matches for that file extension.
