How can I see which toolboxes I have installed?

I would like to know what products and other toolboxes are installed into my installation of MATLAB, and also what functions are provided with the toolboxes.

If you are using MATLAB version R2015b or later, you can view and manage all installed add-ons including toolboxes using the Add-On Manager. To open the Add-On Manager, in MATLAB, go to the Home tab, and select Add-Ons > Manage Add-Ons.
To view the function list for a toolbox, select the toolbox in the Add-On Manager and, in the Options menu on the right of the add-on, select View in Add-On Explorer. The Functions tab shows the list of functions included with the toolbox.
Alternatively, to produce a list of installed MathWorks toolboxes, use the 'ver' command:
To produce a list of installed Community toolboxes, use the 'matlab.addons.toolbox.installedToolboxes' command:
To produce a list of the functions available in a toolbox, use the 'help' function:

To check if you have installed a specific toolbox, you can use the existing function in FileExchange called isToolboxAvailable . The usage is as follows:
result = isToolboxAvailable('image processing toolbox','error');

Since R2006a you can use
result = license('test','image processing toolbox')
making isToolboxAvailable somewhat redundant.
