To determine the version of Flexlm you presently have, run a status command on the network license manager. The directions on how to do this vary by OS:
Windows:
Open lmtools.exe found in the MATLABROOT/etc (MATLABROOT\flexlm for releases prior to R2010b on Windows) directory. Go to "server status" and hit "preform status enquiry".
Linux/Unix/Mac:
Move into the run the $MATLAB/etc/ directory, and run the "lmstat" script.
After preforming the status inquiry, the lmgrd and vendor daemon version information will be displayed below.
