Why does MATLAB ignore the system's color scheme on LINUX machines?

7 views (last 30 days)
The dialog colors remain grey, regardless of the scheme settings. If the selected scheme is black, and the editor's colors are set to be white font over black background, switching between windows can cause a bright flashing while the black background of the editor gets redrawed over the grey dialog.

The ability to change the dialog colors manually via changing the system settings or using java commands is currently not available in MATLAB.
To work around this issue when using a black scheme as described before, follow the instructions in the attached file to change MATLAB's dialog colors to be dark.
