Can I use the Instrument Control Toolbox over a LAN by using the Agilent I/O Library (VISA) and Agilent LAN to GPIB converter?

The Instrument Control Toolbox 2.8 (R2009a) can be used to communicate with instruments over a Local Area Network using the Agilent VISA libraries and Agilent LAN to GPIB converter as long as the VISA interface is available.

The Instrument Control Toolbox requires only that the interface be present. The implementation of the interface is transparent to the toolbox.
