In an act of protest, this answer includes the oxford comma. ;)

Hear, hear, the only way to prevent lexical ambiguity is the Oxford comma. As proof, I submit a friendly panda (eats, shoots and leaves) versus an unfriendly guest (eats, shoot, and leaves).
