Given the motor specs the program will give the transfer function with load and without load. It will also show a step response of the transfer function program.
To understand the program see a block diagram of a dc motor. Also see a block diagram of a dc motor connected to a load.

Can anyone explain the code or give me a link for the explanation of this code, please.
How come wmax (maximum operating speed) and Imax (maximum armature current) are asked for but not used anywhere in the program? The program still managed to derive the transfer function correctly nevertheless.

I haven't tried the file, but looking at it, it is implemented as a script. It would be much better if written as a function. As it is, if you run this it could conceivably overwrite variables in your workspace. I'd encourage the author to use this as an excellent opportunity to learn GUI programming. You could make a nifty and useful program.
