This set of utilities is part of SCOPE (SEER clinical outcome prediction expert). These programs compute the ROC area that SCOPE uses to optimize risk models. Excel is assumed on a Window machine for these to work. These programs interactively ask for the observed and fitted outcome columns for the computation. Note when the outcome is binary, ROC area = sensitivity*(1-specificity) is particularly useful.
