Wavelet Based Sharp Features (WASH): An Image Quality Assessment Metric Based on HVS
WASH is an image quality assessment metric based on HVS. The image is
analyzed in the wavelet domain which is advantageous to the quality
assessment based on human perception. The sharpness and zero-crossing are the two important features that give good quality estimation based on the structural distortion of the image. This method estimates the image quality based on the concept of sharpness and zero-crossing.
