balancing and frequency control functions are provided by WGRs while receiving dispatch commands from the ISO's. A variable load block is created to implement variations in load and wind speed is varied after every 100 seconds to show its intermittent nature. Active power is controlled in such a way that it follows dispatch commands and maintains 60 Hz frequency for varying wind speed and load conditions. Wind generation serves 10% of total static and dynamic load while other generators serve 30% load each.
