A two wagon system is moving uphill on uneven terrain created from STL files in Simscape Multibody. Torque is regulated and the contact between wheel and terrain is captured with a spatial force block. The vehicle is provided with electric propulsion (battery - motor).

A 3D motion pattern is imposed to a vehicle provided with ideal and Magic Formula tires. Kinematic information is obtained through multibody simulation and the track followed re-created based upon MATLAB programmatic techniques. Inertial effects and traction power are captured while track & vehicle are visualized. Execute the file entitled TRAJ_script (2015b).
