Multivariate Linear Regression For Ictal Traveling Wave Estimation
Here I provided several regression methods to estimate traveling wave velocity in high resolution EEG data. You can statistically test the existence of traveling waves by looking at spatiotemporal distribution of multiunit spikes or local field potential and then estimate their velocities. Point-process, envelope (time series), and cross-correlation methods are all provided with robust option (least absolute deviation method). No statistical toolbox is required for these functions.
Files:
- SpatioLinearRegression.m
For point process or envelope methods.
- SpatioLinearRegressionXcorr.m
For cross-correlation method.
The detailed description and analysis results are currently under review in Journal of Neural Engineering. I will update the information about the paper if it is accepted.
