Quarter vehicle vibration model for a Hyperloop prototype
This is a simplified twin quarter suspension model for a problem in particular. It is based upon the assumption that the effect of the pitch on the complementary suspension is negligible. This does not mean that the pitch is nonexistent. Each quarter model, one for the front and another for the back, consists of a 4 degrees of freedom system affected
by 3 inputs. The .zip file contains 3 functions:
- system_frequency_response: aims at conducting studies in the frequency domain, creating a way to elaborate Bode diagrams.
- time_propagation_EulerE: allows solving the vibrations differential equations with a constant time step Explicit Euler numerical method.
- equilibrium_position: computes the equilibrium position of the system accounting for components weight and possible external forces.
Everything is calculated matrix notation.
