The user can choose between a full suite of MATLAB optimization algorithms for the design of a coupled cavities filter in rectangular waveguide.

The user can select how the ideal and real responses are compared in order to compute the error.

The progress of the optimization algorithm can be observed as the scattering parameter curve evolves towards the ideal Chebyshev response of the filter.

The user can select:

- Number of resonators of the filter
- Fractional bandwidth
- Return loss in the passband

The central frequency is 11 GHz.
