At the University, I Developed instrumentation (communication and imaging) using sound in underwater environments as well as taught classes in Electrical Engineering and in Speech and Hearing Sciences.

Sound Metrics manufactures and sells very high resolution imaging sonars used for underwater inspection for military and commercial ventures as well as studying underwater habitat and its inhabitants in clear and turbid water.

At the University and Sound Metrics I used MATLAB for simulation, development, and testing of our instrumentation. In retirement I use MATLAB for data analysis and demonstrations in schools.
