Ben Barrowes received the Ph.D. degree in 2004 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA. He was named top high school math student in the state of Utah (1991) and was awarded an NSF graduate fellowship. During 2004/05, he was a Director's funded Postdoc at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Physics Division. His research interests center on electromagnetic wave theory and modeling with applications including wind-wave interaction, electromagnetic scattering from the sea surface as well as from random media, nanoscale energy generation techniques, computer interface methodologies, electromagnetic induction models for nonspherical geometries, and biological electromagnetic phenomena.
