The Trendy application is being retired in the new year. The new web application, ThingSpeak, offers similar functionality. We recommend that active Trendy users who are looking to create new trends use ThingSpeak. To begin collecting your data in ThingSpeak, please read the tutorial : ThingSpeak for Trendy users. Although Trendy no longer allows the creation of new trends, the application will still remain accessible until January 13, 2016. Until that date, you can view your current trends and download your data. After that date, your data will no longer be accessible. Thanks for using Trendy and we encourage you to check out ThingSpeak.

I love MATLAB. I love teaching people to love MATLAB. I love it so much that I went to work for the people who make MATLAB. I spend my days at MathWorks creating material to help people learn MATLAB. Life is good. (My love of teaching MATLAB notwithstanding, please don't email me for help -- post a question to MATLAB Answers instead. Firstly, your email will probably be swallowed by my spam filter. Secondly, private consulting isn't in my job description.)

I'm a training engineer at MathWorks Japan. My addiction to MATLAB got me into MathWorks. I love showing MATLAB, talking about MATLAB, and thinking about how to make MATLAB an even better tool. For 8 years, I was an application engineer at the headquarter, and now I am a training engineer at the Japan office. I am also one of the bloggers for File Exchange Pick of the Week - http://blogs.mathworks.com/pick. Professional Interests: data analysis, gui building, data exploration, data visualization, biomechanics

My current research interests fall into two areas: functional connectivity using EEG-NIRS in epileptic patients and real-time detection of seizure-like activity using NIRS. My PhD thesis involved the application of functional connectivity techniques in a variety of animal models, using several optical imaging modalities, such as intrinsic signals, laser speckle and photoacoustics. Professional Interests: optical imaging, numerical simulation, microcontrollers, instrumentation Personal academic website: https://sites.google.com/site/edgarguevara/
