Real-Time Tool Kit (RTTK) provides real-time data access to detailed binary data in the language of domain experts. FishEye’s technology captures real-time data in a system’s native binary and uses a unique and innovative metadata injection process to store the data in an open standards, platform-independent, self-describing, and high-performance data format. The access exposes internal data that otherwise may not be available to end users, is distributed over system tasks and computers, or is challenging to collect because of the large volume. System developers can reduce cost and risk by reducing time spent developing data capture functions, reducing post-processing time by eliminating the post-processing data conversion step, and quickly assessing how the software is performing. Integrators and testers can use internal data to diagnose problems, verify proper operation, and increase testing automation.

RTTK writes to the HDF5 format, providing MATLAB® users a platform independent and high performance method to efficiently import collected data and perform advanced analysis.  RTTK can also stream data directly into MATLAB using the MATLAB Engine API and enabling users to transform, analyze and visualize data in real time. RTTK provides example MATLAB code for visualizing real-time data streams in 2D and 3D plots.
