The CISC RFID Application and System Design (ASD) Kit+Library is a comprehensive simulation software solution for the design and evaluation of RFID systems and applications. The ASD Kit+Library comprise various simulation modules such as RFID air interface protocol implementations, radio frequency front-end models, and application setups. These modules establish the basis for product configurations that target different applications as RFID product development and RFID system optimization.

RFID system integrators use the ASD Kit+Library to model, evaluate, and optimize application configurations prior to setting up cost-intensive physical installations. Furthermore, manufacturers use ASD Library modules in combination with custom extensions to support the development of RFID products such as ASICs, tags, and interrogators.

The CISC RFID ASD Kit+Library uses MATLAB® and Simulink® as the computing and simulation platform. ASD Kit+Library product configurations typically include Simulink models accompanied by a set of MATLAB programs that support the user in setting up, running, and evaluating comprehensive system simulations. The CISC RFID ASD Kit Full Simulation GUI uses the MATLAB Engine to automatically perform Simulink simulations in the background.
