MATLAB and Simulink Based Books

Engineering Computations and Modeling in MATLAB/Simulink

Engineering Computations and Modeling in MATLAB/Simulink

Written for undergraduate and graduate students, this book provides comprehensive coverage of programming and digital computations as a part of aeronautical and astronautical engineering. The goal of the book is to teach students how to use MATLAB and Simulink in applied engineering computations and effective modeling by progressing from the basics of programming to writing complex scripts fully utilizing specific features of MATLAB. Topics include basic operations, arrays and array operations, programming in MATLAB and Simulink, and numerical linear algebra.

MATLAB and Simulink are introduced and used to solve numerous examples in the book. A chapter on Symbolic Math Toolbox is also included. The book's appendices include coverage of GUI development using GUIDE, creating standalone applications with MATLAB Compiler, and an overview of Aerospace Toolbox and Aerospace Blockset. In addition, a supplemental set of MATLAB based GUIs and Simulink model files is available for download via password.
